In this world there are a lot of places which gave a natural beauty. Punjab is in culture where people have different culture or religion. This story about the Punjabi culture and famous places of Punjab.
Last year one of friend whose name is Kamal Khaira, went Punjab from Calgary after five years and she enjoyed a lot there. She told that when she was young at that there were not enough facilities as now such as electricity, perfect roads etc.
In all India people love to visit in Punjab because that is the place where a lot of gurus took birth and spend their time especially Sikh Guru’s. there are a lot of Sikh temples which are famous, and people come from different countries to see that religious place.
Kamal described Amritsar is also called as Harmandir Sahib because the fourth guru of Sikhs did construct a Golden temple for every religion. This place is precious and peaceful because it had been constructed into water which automatically give an attractive look there. People have a greater believe that if a person do pray with faith, then that happen in actual. There are four gates to every direction east, west, south, north at boundary of Harmandir Sahib that means that is open for everyone and religion does not mater there.
“I remember when I used to live in India, me and my family always celebrate every function with great decoration and cook a lot of sweets at home. While recently when I went there that was marriage of my brother and my all relatives came on that wedding and I enjoyed a lot because after long time got a chance to spend with family and relatives,” said by Kamal.
She mentioned that on this wedding, Punjabi dance was her favourite part because Punjab have two famous dance Bhangra and Gidha which is amazing to do and enjoyable. One day before the marriage there is a function which is known as Jago, in which all relatives from mother side do competition of dance with the father’s relatives. This is so good to watch because both side of families try to do best in every dance performance.
“After the marriage day I went outside for eating the fast food. I did like the Kulcha which is famous in all Punjabis this is made with bread, white chickpeas, onion, and some other ingredients. I also did note recipe in my phone so I can easily make that in Canada and that was so spicey and I can say after long time got that chance to eat something spicy,” Said by Kamal with a happy face.
She said that she also went to farms and did click a lot of pictures because the natural greenery was eye catching for her and she was remembering her child age into that farm. According to her everyone should visit Punjab once a time and hopefully they would also say that this a great journey of life.
